How It Started
From Florida,
With Love
The Pretty Purpose Project was founded in January 2024 in Florida with a simple belief: when girls and women of color are poured into, they overflow into their communities.
What began as a small circle of sisters gathering over brunch grew into a movement — mentorship programs, wellness walks, prayer picnics, school drives, and meals served to neighbors in need. In just one year, our sisterhood expanded to Houston, Texas, bringing Walks for Wellness to Westchase and Mimosas & MooMoos to a whole new city.
We celebrate women of color — teens to young professionals — laughing, praying, studying, serving, and building futures together. This is more than a nonprofit. It's a lifestyle of purpose.
